On March 8-9, 2025, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University organized the project “KKBS Startup Camp 2025 : Global Mindset” An activity to provide an opportunity for Khon Kaen University students to learn about startup businesses, from basic business knowledge, product design concepts, project feasibility assessment principles, and teamwork. This activity is supported by operations to develop new enterprise entrepreneurs (Startup) under academic cooperation between Khon Kaen University and the Technology and Innovation Entrepreneur Development Fund, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. The faculty has been established as a joint entrepreneur development network (TED Fellow).
The event began with a workshop on “Writing a Project Proposal for Funding Like a Professional” by Dr. Kosak Towarathakawanich Assistant Managing Director, New Business Group, Mitr Phol Sugar Co., Ltd., continued with a lecture and practice on “Making a Business Model Canvas” by Dr. Anont Khamworn Director of KKU Enterprise Center, Khon Kaen University, then a practical activity “Writing a KKBS Startup 2025 Project Proposal” by Dr. Vitika Tangchan KKBS TED FELLOW Project Leader and Business Idea Sharing and Lecture Activity “Global Mindset” by Mr. Thanakrit Saemsuksan (Casper) Founder of SEA Bridge Company
The event ended with a brainstorming session with group activities and presentations of prototype ideas and startup business plans by participants of the “KKBS Startup Pitch Deck 2025” camp, which consisted of 6 teams of students from Khon Kaen University. The results of the presentation of startup business plans to receive funding to support the expansion of startup businesses are as follows:
1st Place Winner Two teams received 7,000 baht in prize money each:
1) Nanowipe Team, oil-absorbing paper technology with Carbon Nanofiber
The group members include: Mr. Phiraphat Kurum, Mr. Boonnamphet Lunput, and Mr. Suphawit Thanitkun from the Graduate School of Management, Khon Kaen University.
2) 3D Bridge Begin team, 3D printing business from plastic waste.
The group members include: Mr. Chetporn Khatthawi, Mr. Phumi Chetphanit, Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, Ms. Nattapat Chanthasinghakit, Ms. Rawipha Puriwat, Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, and Ms. Supreeya Phatchanon, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University.
Third runner-up prize 1 team received a cash prize of 3,000 baht, including:
Chaya (Chaya) Essential Balm Stick Team
The group members include: Mr. Thanont Thanasankhosit, International College, Khon Kaen University; Ms. Yada Sobho, Ms. Phatthaphon Chansuk, Ms. Peeraya Benjaworn, Ms. Pawira Ekphachaisawat, and Ms. Sumittra Boonpa from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University.
Honorable Mention Award The 3 teams received 1,000 baht in prize money each:
1) Kean lite team, sugar from sunflower seeds
The group members include: Ms. Thiyada Wongsin, Ms. Pinanong Wianpe, Ms. Apimuk Nakhuang, and Ms. Narumon Kaewpotiklang from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University.
2) Dormy Team, a platform for managing dormitory systems
The group members include: Ms. Pimmada Pattimark, Mr. Nattawat Mingmitmee, Ms. Nichapat Aka from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, and Mr. Phupha Amhatorn, Mr. Inthri Thaophet from the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University.
3) SERVF Team, a consulting service platform
The group members include: Mr. Kawinpop Bappawan, Ms. Mirantee Thongdonpriang, Ms. Suphawan Narongkitsophon, Ms. Kunnat Wetsarakul, and Ms. Kunrak Kunnoi from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University.
