On 28 November 2025, the Graduate School of Khon Kaen University (KKU) organised a traditional merit-making ceremony on the occasion of its 47th founding anniversary. The commemoration was held at Meeting Room 1, 4th Floor, Phimon Klakit Building, Graduate School. Mrs. Natsamol Tanakulrungsarit, Vice President for Legal and Communications, Khon Kaen University, presided over and formally opened the ceremony.
Professor Kiatichai Faksri, Ph.D., Dean of the Graduate School, along with the management team, faculty members, and staff, were present to welcome the guests and participate in the ceremony. The event was honoured by the presence of Luang Ta Siri Intasiri, Abbot of Wat Tham Pha Daeng Pha Nimit, Nam Phong District, Khon Kaen Province, and a delegation of five monks. They performed Buddhist chanting, offered blessings and precepts, and led the alms-giving ritual, invoking auspiciousness for the personnel and the continued flourishing of the institution.
Following the religious rites, attendees collaboratively donated to the 24th “Pee Hai Nong” (Senior to Junior) Community Volunteer Development Project. These contributions support the volunteer activities and community development initiatives undertaken by graduate students, thereby strengthening long-term social engagement and fostering sustainable learning.
