The Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University (KKU), extends its congratulations to Mr. Naruebet Kaeokhamngam, a lecturer at the Khon Kaen University Demonstration School, Nong Khai Campus, whose artistic creations have achieved international recognition. Mr. Kaeokhamngam received awards at the drawing competition organised by TERAVARNA ART GALLERY in Los Angeles, USA, reaffirming the global potential of art education among Thai personnel.
Mr Naruebet achieved two successive awards in online international drawing competitions hosted annually by TERAVARNA Art Gallery, a platform that attracts artists and art enthusiasts from around the world. Each competition revolves around a monthly theme, with winning works displayed in an online exhibition on the TERAVARNA website, which is recognised as a respected standard of acknowledgement within international art communities.
Mr. Naruebet Kaeokhamngam submitted his artwork to two competitions recently and was honoured with the following awards:
- 10th FLOWER International Juried Art Competition, August 2025: He received the FINALIST AWARD among 410 entrants from 42 countries worldwide.
2.8th WATER International Juried Art Competition, September 2025: He received the HONOURABLE MENTION AWARD among 344 entrants from 36 countries worldwide.
Earning both a FINALIST AWARD and the HONOURABLE MENTION AWARD in highly contested competitions featuring artists from diverse backgrounds and schools demonstrates the quality and distinctiveness of his artwork, which keeps pace with contemporary international art. This international experience serves as an inspiration for the development of future students.
